ABOUT THIS SITE

A first China trip,
decision by decision.

ChinaMile is a free reference for people making their first trip to mainland China. Every page is built around one decision a traveller actually has to make — which entry route applies to your passport, how many days a city is worth, what to do when a payment app refuses your card — and ends with a step you can take today.

HOW IT IS MADE

One editor, AI drafting, official sources.

Pages are drafted with AI assistance from official sources — government bodies, carriers, railway operators, venues — rather than from other travel sites, and a single editor decides what ships. Every page records which sources it rests on and when they were checked.

Where a claim has not been verified end to end, the page says so instead of filling the gap. That is the part worth trusting: the limits are written down rather than hidden.

HOW FACTS ARE HANDLED

A check date is a record, not a promise.

Each page records what was checked, when, and against which source — usually a government body, a railway or airline operator, or the venue itself. Those dates are a record of when we looked, not a promise that the rule is still current today.

Entry rules, ticketing systems and prices change, sometimes for one passport and not another, so every page points at the authority you should confirm with before you commit money or travel.

WHAT THIS SITE DOES NOT DO

Three limits worth stating plainly.

It does not process visas, review applications, or act as an agent for any service. Nothing here is immigration or legal advice.

It does not take payment for placement. No hotel, carrier, tour or app has paid to appear on this site, and commercial relationships do not decide what gets recommended or in what order.

It does not invent field experience. Pages are built from documented sources, not from claimed personal trips. Where something was not tested in person, it is marked unverified rather than dressed up as first-hand.

CORRECTIONS

If a page is wrong, that address reaches the editor.

If a page is wrong, out of date, or sends you somewhere that no longer works, write to aliceleeeeeeeee@gmail.com. Corrections that change what a traveller should do are made to the page itself, with the check date updated.
